VIENNA, VA ─ November 29, 2012 ─ VidSys, a leading provider of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, today announced the addition of John A. Gill to its leadership team. Gill brings more than 30 years of experience in domestic and international security, law enforcement, intelligence and private sector contracting to his new role as vice president of business development.
“John’s extensive experience in both the public and private sectors give him intimate knowledge and understanding of the security challenges organizations worldwide face on a regular basis,” said Michael P. Gill most recently served as the vice president of business development for AGT and 3i-MIND, providers of threat intelligence solutions, where he managed the global agency practice. Prior to that, he served as the White House chief security officer for both the Bush and Obama administrations where he managed and implemented security policies and programs supporting the White House complex and the Executive Office of the President. Leading up to this role, Gill spent more than 20 years with the United States Secret Service working on assignments with the Presidential Protective Division, the Special Programs/Counter Assault Team and the Miami and Washington Field Offices.
