Paul Retzbach joins Vidsys leadership team

VIENNA, Va. ─ December 9, 2013 Vidsys, a leading provider of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, today announced the addition of Paul Retzbach to its leadership team as vice president of customer services.  He will be responsible for new installations in the Americas and ongoing support of existing customers.  Retzbach brings 20 plus years of experience in the global physical security market where he has led teams in project management, business process improvement and P&L Management missions.

Retzbach most recently served as vice president of the government vertical market for Stanley Security Solutions, where he was responsible for bridging existing customer relationships and new opportunities across the multiple business units within this division.  Previously he held positions at M.C. Dean, United Technologies, SimplexGrinnell and ADT.

“We are delighted to welcome Paul to our management team,” said Michael P. Jackson, CEO of Vidsys. “Paul’s experience serving both public and commercial sectors will bring terrific value for Vidsys and our customers.  His executive skills in managing complex security projects strengthens our ability to provide rapid, efficient deployments of the Vidsys software platform.  And outstanding customer service for the long-term after deployment.

Retzbach said, “I am excited about joining Vidsys, a company that was instrumental in creating the category of PSIM in the marketplace. The software enables increased operational efficiency by bridging multiple, disparate systems.  This benefits the customer by establishing a mechanism for more effective risk management and reducing the total cost of ownership.”

Retzbach earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Johns Hopkins.  He is a certified Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) through ASIS International and the Project Management Institute respectively.
