Vienna, VA ─ October 19, 2012 ─ VidSys, a leading provider of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, today announced details of its participation at the 2012 AUSA Annual Meeting & Expo, taking place October 22 – 24 in Washington, D.C. During the AUSA Annual Meeting –one of the largest land warfare expositions and professional development forums in the world— VidSys will participate in the Explora Security booth to showcase the latest advancements in PSIM software and surveillance solutions.
What: Key Army and Department of Defense decision-makers from public and private institutions will have the opportunity for a hands-on demo of the latest PSIM software from VidSys.
Running within the Explora Security booth command center, the VidSys PSIM software demonstration will showcase how real-life perimeter intrusion situations can be identified, analyzed, verified, resolved and tracked, quickly and efficiently. Additionally, the VidSys PSIM software demonstration will highlight integration with leading technologies from Bridgeborn (data visualization), Guartell Search and Surveillance (perimeter security and portable camera and radar system), and Sony (wide area monitoring video technology).
In addition to a variety of perimeter situations, those who stop by the booth will learn about real-world applications of these technologies, including how the VidSys/Sony solution was leveraged by the United States Park Police (USPP) to monitor for, respond to and manage potential security and safety threats throughout the National Mall.
Along with product demonstrations, AUSU attendees can learn more about results from the recently announced 2012 VidSys Security Survey. The survey provides insight into the security concerns and buying patterns of public agencies and private organizations. .
